MacIsaac & Nevits, P.C. is a full service law firm engaging in the practice of real estate law in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.  The attorneys have extensive experience representing lenders, buyers and sellers in real estate transactions, having jointly been involved in more than 2000 closings over the course of their careers.  The firm has close working relationships with experienced service providers, such as attorney title examiners and professional surveyors, throughout Massachusetts and is an agent for First American Title Insurance Company and Stewart Title Guaranty Company.  Our goal is to provide clients with expert legal assistance with an emphasis on client satisfaction and professional integrity.

Attorneys

Patricia E. Dumphy MacIsaac is a lifelong resident of Shrewsbury and a graduate of Assumption College, Worcester, MA (B.A.) and Suffolk University School of Law, Boston, MA (J.D.).  She was admitted to practice law in Massachusetts in 2001.  Attorney MacIsaac was employed at a real estate boutique firm for two years before entering private practice in 2003.  She concentrates on all facets of real estate law, including representation of buyers and sellers, representation of lenders in purchase, refinance, reverse mortgage and home equity transactions, title review and issue resolution, issuance of title policies, representation of lenders and borrowers in foreclosure actions, including relief of stay in bankruptcy and REO sales, and representation of landlords and tenants in lease negotiation and lease enforcement.

Darja Drenchko Nevits is a graduate of the State University of New York at Albany, Albany, NY (B.A.), Albany Law School of Union University, Albany, NY (J.D.) and Boston University School of Law, Boston, MA (LL.M. in Banking and Financial Law).  She was admitted to practice law in Massachusetts in 1986 and admitted to the New York Bar in 1987.  Attorney Nevits has practiced in both Massachusetts and New York, concentrating on real estate law, including representation of buyers and sellers, representation of lenders in purchase, refinance, reverse mortgage and home equity transactions, title review and issue resolution, issuance of title insurance policies, representation of landlords and tenants in lease negotiation and lease enforcement and representation of parties before administrative approval boards.  She is currently a member of the Town of Hudson Zoning Board of Appeals and previously sat on the Town of Hudson Planning Board for six years.
